Rigid Forks

Rigid forks are more conventional forks, consisting of two metal supports that, like a traditional bicycle, keep the wheel locked in one position with no travel. Rigid forks are almost always found on hardtail mountain bike frames.

One option geared towards both control and comfort is the suspension system of a bike. A hardtail bike has a front suspension fork that absorbs impacts from rocky trails, while there is no suspension in its sibling, the rigid bike. The way the bike handles and reacts as you ride changes this difference.
